The short version
Section titled “The short version”- Your maps stay on your device. They are never uploaded.
- No ads, no analytics, no tracking. Nothing records what you do in the app.
- No account. There’s nothing to sign up for, and nothing to look you up by.

What uses the network, and why
Section titled “What uses the network, and why”Only three parts of Smart Mind ever connect to the internet. With your device offline, everything else keeps working.
AI, when you use it
Section titled “AI, when you use it”Generating a map sends the sentence you typed. Expanding a topic sends that topic and enough of the map around it to make the suggestions fit. Your maps aren’t uploaded, and what is sent isn’t stored or used for anything else. If you never tap an AI button, nothing is sent.
Purchases
Section titled “Purchases”Buying Pro goes through the App Store or Google Play. A purchase service, RevenueCat, keeps track of whether you have Pro, using an anonymous ID and your purchase history. It is told what you bought, never what you wrote.
The same anonymous ID lets the AI service count your allowance. In the app it appears as your Support ID.
Crash reports, which you can turn off
Section titled “Crash reports, which you can turn off”When the app crashes, it sends a report to Firebase Crashlytics: what went wrong in the code, the OS version and the device model. It never includes map content and never includes who you are. It only records what broke, not what you did.
It’s on by default. Turn it off in Settings → Your data → Send crash reports.
Syncing devices
Section titled “Syncing devices”Sync devices sends maps directly between your own devices on your Wi-Fi network. They don’t go through the internet or through any server. The connection is encrypted, and the six digits you compare make sure your device is talking to your other device and nothing else.
Emailing support
Section titled “Emailing support”Send feedback opens your own mail app with your app version and Support ID filled in. Nothing is sent until you press send, and then it goes from your email account like any other message.

Section titled “This website”This site has no analytics, no cookies and no trackers. Its fonts are served from this site rather than a font service, and search runs in your browser.
