A page for each part of the app. Anything marked Pro needs Smart Mind Pro; everything else is free and stays free.

Create

Unlimited topics on a canvas that grows with your thinking, and several separate maps side by side on one page. Drag and drop to re-parent a topic or re-order siblings. Checkboxes with progress that rolls up from the branch below, auto-numbering that nests as 1.2.3, crosslinks between any two topics, and labels and call-outs for the things that are not topics. Layouts

Eight ways to arrange the same map: horizontal, vertical, top-down org chart, linear timeline, radial, matrix, list, and free-form where every topic stays exactly where you put it. Horizontal is free; the other seven are Pro. Read the Layouts page.

Style and themes

Eighteen built-in themes, eight of them dark. Three are free, including a dark one. Style any topic on its own — fill, text, border, shape, font — and set any branch line’s colour and pattern. Custom themes you build yourself are Pro. Read the Style page.

Notes and media

A note on any topic, written in Markdown, with an indicator so you can see which topics carry one. Images from your camera or gallery, copied into the app rather than linked. Emoji and a stock icon set for marking topics up. Read the Notes and media page.

AI

Generate a whole map from one sentence, or expand a single topic into sub-topics. Both produce ordinary editable text. Read the AI page.

Sync devices

Copy and merge maps between your own phone and tablet over Wi-Fi. Pro. There is no account and nothing leaves your network. Pair by scanning a code or by comparing six digits, and edits made on both sides merge topic by topic. Read the Sync page.

Share and export

Export to PDF, PNG, HTML, Markdown, OPML or a plain text outline, print from the app, or present a map branch by branch as an animated slideshow. Text outline export and 1× image export are free; the rest is Pro. Importing is always free, including restoring a full backup. Read the Share and export page.

Organize

Folders, starring, templates, search inside a map and across the whole library, an editable outline view, and a trash that keeps deleted maps for 30 days. Read the Organize page.
