Free and Pro
Smart Mind is free to download and use. Smart Mind Pro unlocks more layouts, themes, export formats, presenting, device sync and a larger AI allowance.

The three-map limit only applies to making a map: blank, from a template, with AI, or by duplicating. Importing and restoring always work, even past three, and maps in the Trash don’t count. Every map you already have stays fully editable, however many there are.
How to buy
Section titled “How to buy”Pro is sold in the app as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. The yearly plan may include a free trial. The paywall in the app shows the current price in your currency before you pay.
Purchases go through the App Store or Google Play, so you manage and cancel subscriptions there. To move Pro to a new phone, tap Restore purchases on the paywall in the app.
If your subscription ends
Section titled “If your subscription ends”Smart Mind never holds your maps hostage.
- Every map stays editable. Nothing becomes read-only, hidden or deleted.
- Maps keep their look. A map made with a Pro layout or theme still shows it. You just can’t pick Pro layouts or themes for new maps.
- You can still back up. Anyone who has ever had Pro can keep exporting Smart Mind backups.
- Importing stays free. Backups, OPML and pasted outlines always open.
What Pro is not
Section titled “What Pro is not”- No ads, in either version. The free version isn’t paid for with your attention or your data.
- No account. Pro belongs to your App Store or Google Play account, and Smart Mind never knows who you are.
- AI still has a limit. AI runs on a server that costs money for every request, so both free and Pro come with an allowance.
